The appraisal itself was extremely detailed and included a thorough explanation of how they arrived at the value. It came with extensive documentation, and it's clear they did a significant amount of research. They were also very responsive through text and email and always available to answer any questions.

APPRAISAL SERVICES
Three ways we support your RV insurance claim.
Total Loss Appraisal
When an insurer declares your RV a total loss, our independent appraisal documents the actual cash value at the time of loss. A credible, USPAP-compliant total loss report gives you a factual basis to evaluate or dispute the insurer's settlement offer.
Diminished Value Assessment
Even after repairs, a damaged RV typically sells for less than one with a clean history. A diminished value assessment quantifies how much your RV's market value has declined because of the incident, giving you documentation to support a claim with your insurer.
Insurance Coverage Appraisal
Before a loss occurs, an agreed value or replacement cost appraisal ensures your RV is insured for its true market value. We provide coverage appraisals for policy renewals, specialty RV builds, and high-value units where standard book values may fall short.

COMMON QUESTIONS
RV insurance claim appraisals — what to expect.
What is a total loss appraisal and when do I need one?
A total loss appraisal establishes the actual cash value (ACV) of your RV at the time of loss. Insurers use ACV to calculate total loss settlement amounts. If you believe the insurer's offer does not accurately reflect your RV's pre-loss market value, an independent USPAP-compliant appraisal gives you a documented, defensible counterpoint.
What is diminished value and do I qualify for a claim?
Diminished value is the reduction in your RV's resale market value that persists after repairs. Even a well-repaired RV with an accident history typically sells for less than a comparable undamaged unit. Whether you can file a diminished value claim depends on your policy and state law. An independent appraisal documents the measurable value loss, which is the required first step in pursuing a claim.
What does negotiation support include?
Negotiation support is an add-on service for $200 above the base appraisal fee. When you add it, your appraiser remains available through the claim process, responds to counter-valuations from the insurer's adjuster, and provides any additional documentation needed to support your position. It is not legal representation, but it gives you an independent expert engaged during settlement discussions.
Can I order an appraisal after the insurer has already made a settlement offer?
Yes. An independent appraisal can be ordered at any point during the claims process. If you have already received an offer you believe is below market value, our appraisal provides a documented basis to request reconsideration. Many policies also include an appraisal clause that formally entitles you to an independent appraisal in the event of a valuation dispute.
How is actual cash value determined for an RV?
Actual cash value is established by analyzing comparable RV sales, dealer listings, auction data, and private market activity, then adjusting for your specific unit's year, make, model, condition, mileage, upgrades, and any pre-existing damage. Our appraisers document each adjustment so the value conclusion is fully supportable.
Can the appraisal be completed remotely?
Yes. Most RV insurance appraisals are completed online using photos, documentation, and VIN information you provide. If the RV's damage or condition requires an onsite inspection, we will let you know at the outset.
How long does the process take?
Most appraisals are delivered within 4–5 business days after receipt of all required information. If your claim has a tight deadline, contact us and we will confirm whether expedited service is available.
What does an RV insurance claim appraisal cost?
Base fees range from $295 to $495 depending on RV type and complexity. Negotiation support is available as a $200 add-on to the base fee. All fees are quoted and confirmed before work begins.
